Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given that the 47th Annual General Meeting of the Glenbrae Riding Club is on Wednesday, 24th January, starting at 7.30pm prompt, at the Mayfield Centre, Sunnybank Road, St Ninians Stirling FK7 0DB.

We encourage as many members as possible to attend the AGM which, as well as discussing the current years business and activities, is a useful opportunity for members to meet and discuss any points of interest.

Current members and their families are invited to join us for our virtual pub quiz. Friday 10th April 8pm in your living room!!

Since we had to cancel/reschedule our pub quiz due to the current situation we wanted to get everyone involved in a different way. The quiz is open to everyone in your household or whoever you are in lockdown with ?

If you want to join in please email a member of the committee or message on Facebook. We will then send you a joining link and the quiz sheets.

Open Combined Training Show Saturday 28th March

Our first show of the year is at Blueridge Equestrian, Sheildhill on the 28th March. This is open to all, with classes for all levels. Show jumping begins at 9.30am with small cross-poles. Dressage will start at 9.30 and we have classes in dressage up to novice. Details are on the schedule.

You can enter SJ classes on the day but dressage must be entered by Monday 23rd March. Glenbrae Members get a discount for pre-entries – hope to see lots of you there. All are welcome.

Spring Events

Unfortunately in February we had to cancel a couple of different lessons over the last week or so due to the weather/illness, but there are more being organised – please check the calendar for the latest list of lessons available, including some XC lessons planned in for May. 


? Coming up shortly we have a schooling demo day with the fantastic Sean Henderson on Saturday 22nd Feb from 11am until around 2.30/3pm – this is being held inside at Blair’s Farm indoor arena. At £5 per person it is open to all, so bring your friends along to get some schooling inspiration! 


?? We also have another of our popular Pub Quiz/Bingo nights on Friday 20th March, which is being held at the Stirling Cricket Club. Always a fun night, bring your friends/family along in a team – and good value at £5 per person which includes table snacks, finger buffet, tea/coffee/cake and prizes for the winning teams! 


? On Saturday 28th March we will be holding our first combined Dressage & Show Jumping show of the year – this one is open to all but there will be a discount for our members on pre-entries. The schedule will be available very shortly.
